About usOur shop, Bumblebee @ Paul Hodgkiss Designs, is set in a beautiful 200-year-old sandstone cottage on Glasgow’s south side. Bumblebee blossomed from Paul Hodgkiss Designs which has been creating custom made furniture since 1994.
You will quickly discover that we are passionate about what we sell, and our range of accessories, gifts and toys, are all just that little bit different. Many are one-offs, as we are always coming across irresistible new designs during the course of our travels. Some of the beautiful accessories we sell are from En Gry & Sif and Anne Claire Petit which are both fair trade companies. We stock beautiful ceramics from Luna Lighting, Jane Maddison, and lovely porcelain mugs by Repeat Repeat. We love Scandanavian Greengate and their beautiful stoneware and cushions. These are just a few of the companies we have so please have a browse at our shop to see our selection. Whenever we find a fantastic new designer or company, we get so excited, that we want to share our finds with the wonderful clients who love Bumblebee as much as we do. Given that we live above shop, it’s not surprising that our home is filled with some our favourite designs from the shop. As a family run company, you will find us welcoming and friendly, and we always take time to talk to our clients. Do please come and visit if you can.
